Rotpunkt has reported a kitchen sales growth figure of 115% year on year to June 2012. “Since Rotpunkt started supplying the UK direct from 
Germany in March, five new kitchen retailers across the country have come on board, with further opportunities to expand the dealer base,” said Matt Phillips, Head of Rotpunkt UK sales.
Matt points to several factors that are generating growth. “First, there was an immediate benefit to retailers of around a 20% price reduction just by Rotpunkt supplying direct and of course, the more favourable Euro exchange rate has helped. Supplying direct has also improved our service to retailers, who now receive a full dimensional spec., kitchen plan and floor plan from Germany.
“More than ever, consumers expect value for money and appreciate the individual, tailored design Rotpunkt can offer that is normally associated with a higher price tag. On top of this, we are meeting demand for a wider choice of neutral colours, but on laminate as well as the more upmarket lacquered doors.”
