The Federation of Kitchen and Bathroom Designers

FKBD is an association of professional people who work within the KBB industry.

The FKBD mission is to promote excellence in design and customer service in the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom industry.

We  support the people who actually deal with the buying public, the eventual end customers for every section of the industry, and assist in every way we can to ensure that design work is of a high standard and that products specified are suitable for circumstances and fit for purpose. Our web site offers designers and sales people advice and technical information, and allows our members to interact with one-another and provide each-other problem solving advice.

Members of FKBD benefit from their collective experience and from resourses available on our web site.

FKBD membership can give individuals a sense of pride in themselves and their own work as we recognise their professional status and offer an accreditation which allows the public to identify them as skilled and trustworthy individuals.  Membership is not simply bought by paying a fee, but is only available to people who accept our Code of Practice and who demonstrate an appropriate level of knowledge and ability.  FKBD are working towards the provision of industry recognised training and qualifications which will reinforce the professional status of KBB designers, sales people and installers, and in this respect are cooperating with other industry orhanisations such as the KBBNTG and the BMA.
