This year at The Sleep Event on 21-22nd November at the Business Design Centre in Islington, Hansgrohe will unveil an innovative line-up of new products not seen before in the UKand only launched globally by the internationally renowned bathroom specialist in the past few months.

Follow your Head and your Heart with Axor Starck Organic

First among these and, currently dominating industry headlines, is the latest Axor collection from legendary French designer Philippe Starck. Launched in Berlinon 18th September, the Axor Starck Organic range, comprising more than 40 products, carries the strapline ‘Follow your Head and your Heart’. The unique, organic design is inspired by the powerful energy of life as found both in nature and in the beauty of the human form, while operation of the new mixer taps is intuitive, ergonomic and sets new standards in water saving.

Two handles blend in visually with the body of the mixers to separately control temperature and volume. With Axor Starck Organic, water is turned on and off at the end of the spout. This is ergonomic, because the hands are right where the water emerges, while temperature is thermostatically regulated at the top of the mixer - meaning that less water drops land on the surface to leave marks. The control may remain at the energy-saving cold position or at any other preferred setting; if the user wishes to change the temperature – which is often not necessary – then this is done in a separate action.

Hansgrohe technicians invented an entirely new spray type for Axor Starck Organic. Consisting of 90 individual outlets, each producing countless gentle drops of water, this new spray provides a wonderful sensation which is also more functional as it covers a larger surface area. It also sets a new standard: consuming only 3.5 litres of water per minute, without any compromise in performance.

New Raindance technology with innovative Select switching

A number of new launches will also be showcased on Stand M34 from the Hansgrohe brand. In a pioneering step forward for the Raindance shower family, the latest ‘Select’ showers now offer both a gentle aerated spray and a tingling effective downpour within a single shower head. This is in response to customers expressing a preference for both types of spray. Steffen Erath, Product Manager at Hansgrohe reports. “Children often find a gentle stream more pleasant. Women with long hair need a forceful jet for rinsing out shampoo. And many people both: the powerful downpour in the morning, and the gentle, relaxing shower in the evening. Our conclusion: a shower needs to do both.”

The new Raindance Select E120 hand shower, Raindance Select E300 overhead and the Raindance Select E300 Showerpipe all offer the choice of gentle aerated RainAir and the forceful, effective Rain shower spray. Both spray types are delivered across the entire face of the shower and for the E120 hand shower there is also the added spray choice of a powerful Whirl massage spray.


The latest ‘Select’ feature makes switching between spray modes child’s play. Simply push the single button to click between jet types and enjoy your perfect shower.

Working with the renowned designers Phoenix Design (Stuttgart/Tokyo), the new Raindance Select showers have a clean SoftCube shape, producing a design that combines easily with other styles. Harmoniously rounded corners and fluid shapes dominate, signaling a departure from the severe minimalist style. All are available in a choice of all-chrome or fresh dual colour chrome and white.

Lasting Design and Quality for Hotel Bathrooms

Further Hansgrohe and Axor products on display will provide a design overview to inspire specifiers and also demonstrate the company’s experience and expertise in understanding the specific needs of the hotel sector.
