News - Hansgrohe Catalogue iPad App Archive

Wednesday, November 14th 2012

The warmest welcome awaits you: on starting the new Hansgrohe Catalogue iPad App, a smiling female aims a hand shower at the user, the iPad fills with water and the woman disappears behind a curtain of pearly water droplets. The intuitive Catalogue App from mixer and shower specialist Hansgrohe (www.hansgrohe.com) can now be downloaded free of charge from the iTunes App Store. It surprises users with a broad range of functions that offer a fun, interactive experience and differentiate the app from a conventional online catalogue. Multiple features and films encourage journeys of discovery and highlight the endless possibilities that are available today for bathrooms and kitchens.

Information and overviews: what range of products does Hansgrohe offer? The main menu is divided into three areas: shower pleasure, bathroom and kitchen, as well as information about the company. The broad range of Hansgrohe products appears with a tap of the finger, for example shower-related products: hand and overhead showers, shower sets (hand shower + shower bar) or shower pipes (thermostat + hand shower + overhead shower). For anyone who still thinks a tap is a tap, the mixer area provides an insight into the fascinating diversity available for wash basins and sinks: whether with an award-winning design, a white and chrome finish or a swivel spout.

Playing with styles: an introduction to the Hansgrohe design worlds

Avantgarde, Modern, Classic: three Hansgrohe styles each speak their own consistent design language. This helps you to design a truly stylish bathroom. A further helpful tool is a configurator, which enables you to test out the Hansgrohe mixers on several wash basin shapes. For the stylistically perfect combination of mixers and ceramics, simply tap products with your finger. The app can be used as a fun tool for expanding your ‘ComfortZone’ – the clearance area under the mixer: simply enlarge a wash basin mixer using two fingers – from the small, compact model for the guest toilet to the highriser model for conveniently washing your hair.

Release products and project them in your own bathroom: the camera function

A practical feature offered by the Catalogue App is perfect for anyone who wants to see how Hansgrohe mixers and showers would look in their bathroom: move the camera icon in the product view to automatically release a product. This can then be projected into your own bathroom. To do this, find the correct position in the shower, on the bath or on the wash basin or sink, trigger the camera then sit back and be amazed. This tool for virtually testing products offers real added benefits for anyone planning a new bathroom.
