 With so many unusual flooring options now available – from reclaimed woods and unusual tiles – to the contemporary use of concrete and  linoleum, it’s no surprise that making a feature of flooring with the specification of clever, walk-over lighting is becoming increasingly popular.

Floorleds from Eyeleds are a patented range of ‘plug and play’, low profile, walk-over LED lights that can be permanently recessed into residential and commercial floors alike. Ideal for all manner of floors – including hardwoods, laminates, natural stone, quartz and even carpet – Floorleds make a stunning focal point of flooring.

 However, in addition to their aesthetic appeal, Floorleds are also extremely practical – they can literally light the way to staircases, elevators, entrances and exits. And, having been designed to withstand heavy use up to 285kg, they are also incredibly robust – standing up to continuous footfall and being driven over, too.

Flexible, practical, but aesthetically appealing Floorleds are available in round or square forms and can be used in floors ranging from natural stone, quartz and hardwood to laminates, carpets and vinyls. Just 7mm of floor is required for Floorleds to be recessed.

Available in round and square forms, Floorleds are energy efficient, cool-to-touch, made from marine grade stainless steel (316) and feature tough, polycarbonate lenses, which are available in cool white, warm white and blue. They will operate in temperatures from 35°C-65°C, offer a rated life of 100,000 hours and come with a 3 year warranty.
