News - English Revival wins Silver Award for Best Luxury Kitchen Archive

Wednesday, November 14th 2012

The bespoke traditional kitchen collection English Revival from leading British kitchen manufacturer Mereway Kitchens has won a Silver Award in the Best Luxury Kitchen category at the 2012 House Beautiful awards.

English Revival offers beautiful in-frame kitchens that are handmade using traditional craftsmanship and techniques.  Solid oak shaker doors are hand crafted with exceptional attention to detail and combine with a carefully chosen palette of painted colours that can be mixed to create a totally unique look.

“We are delighted that this range has been recognised by one of the best-selling home interest magazines, it highlights the ongoing popularity for traditionally built kitchens in this modern age,” says Mereway Sales and Marketing Director Graham Jones.

Mereway were also shortlisted in two other of the 26 hotly contested categories.  The Handleless white gloss from Trend Interiors and the Canterbury Olive & Pebble from the Complete Kitchen Collection were both shortlisted in the Best Value Kitchen category and the Cappuccino Gloss Modular furniture in the Best Bathroom Product category.

The House Beautiful Awards recognise excellence in the year’s best home products and retailers and was held at the Science Museum in London.  House Beautiful Editor Julia Goodwin was joined by an expert panel of judges, including designers John Rocha, Jeff Banks, Sophie Conran, Oliver Heath, Nick Munro, David Domoney, presenter and DIY expert Tommy Walsh, cookery writer and presenter Mary Berry and winner of the BBC’s 'The Great British Bake Off' 2010, Edd Kimber.
