Italian cooker hood manufacturer, Falmec, has created a quirky new YouTube video to explain the innovative technology used in its latest E.ion System range. 

Through modern animations and fun graphics, Falmec explains how ionisation technology is used within its hoods to mimic natural processes of air purification.  It demonstrates the benefits the system has on health and wellbeing, beyond being up to 95% efficient at removing cooking odours.  

The video demonstrates how particles in the air called ions destroy bacteria, viruses, spores and allergens and how this process is recreated by the E.ion System. 

The new extractors generate these beneficial ions to purify the air at the same time as it eliminates odour and removes grease.  This maintains the optimum natural balance of ions in the air that promotes health and wellbeing and a cleaner kitchen environment.   You can see when the air is pure as the leaf sensor on the cooker hood turns from yellow to green.

The new video is part of a number of films Falmec has created for its YouTube channel to demonstrate the benefits of its technology. 

It’s intended that the video will help to simplify the technology and aid retailers in explaining the health and environmental benefits to customers, while consumers can get a true understanding of how Falmec’s air purification technology can benefit them.
