Westag & Getalit takes the UK kitchen trade one step further Innovative products combined with extensive services

The extensive on-site support provided by the UK sales force and UK Sales Office in London, Watford is supplemented by cut-to-size services and a wide range of useful accessories including innovative ready-to-install edge and corner joint solutions. Free to use planning software “CutDesign“ offers retailers optimal support in custom-fit planning of kitchen worktops and ensures a smooth ordering process.

Following a successful positioning in the UK market, the UK subsidiary now approaches the kitchen trade with full power. Thus, the planning and calculation software is now also available online. Kitchen retailers have direct access to the software, using their username and password, which makes the planning and ordering of ready-made kitchen worktops much easier. For the “Getalit“ high-pressure-laminate worktops, retailers can also plan and order different innovative cut-to-size edge solutions. The manufacturer also offers for its “GetaCore” solid surface worktops order forms for 80 different under mounted sink solutions. Any desired version can now be ordered quickly and easily. Ready-to-install kitchen worktops are delivered from the factory in Germany within three to four weeks. In order to achieve such short delivery times, Westag UK cooperates with the company Blanco. In order to further improve the customer support provided to kitchen retailers, Westag UK has also extended its sales force. Hence, Tim Hibberd is the new Area Sales Manager for the kitchen retail market and Stacey Farthing is a new office based retail sales administrator.
