Westag & Getalit have set up a UK Sales office based in London, Watford,
together with a stock holding depot in Doncaster/Thorne following the same
three fundamental objectives as Westags general philosophy: Firstly,
we supply our customers from our stock range of products - even just one
item, if needs be - from our UK stock holding depot. Secondly, we deliver on
time with a delivery quota exceeding 99 % and, thirdly, we draw the added value
to be achieved from our factory locations in Germany, in combination with
extremely short delivery periods are decisive customer advantages. Our highly modern cut-and-edge centre, we can
produce customized products to suit individual kitchen planning purposes.
The fundamentals for the successful implementation of this strategy are modern
technology as well as the creativity of our staff during production,
planning and realisation.
Our range for GetaLit high-pressure
laminates (HPL) consists of hundreds of attractive decors with several surface
textures including a high gloss surface which has set an industry standard. For
ten years we have been a pioneer in HPL Digital Printing and fulfill
exceptional decor requests. Using GetaLit in combination with supporting
materials, we can produce components like kitchen worktops and window sills.
GetaLit-HPL laminates are sheets consisting of layers of
synthetic resin saturated kraftpapers and a top layer of printed or plain
colour decor paper which is protected by a crystal clear melamine overlay. With
the appropriate machinery, Getalit Type HGP can be postformed. Due to its
outstanding duroplastic properties, GetaLit-HPL laminates are especially
resistant to impact and abrasion and superior to standard melamine faced
chipboard or similar substrates.
The successful product line of GetaCore
Solid Surface materials was launched in the year 2000. In addition to the 10 mm
standard thickness we alternatively offer to our customers 3 mm thick material
which can be very easily processed and has economic advantages. Sixty standard
decors and the joint-free insertion of basins make GetaCore the ideal material
for bathrooms, kitchens and other interior applications.
GetaCore acrylic bound Solid Surface material captivates
with its unique stone optics and with its outstanding depth effect and -
contrary to the optics - this product is warm to the touch. GetaCore can easily
be shaped individually and processed with standard wood working machinery. Even
composite panels or undermounted basins appear to be made of a piece. More
amazing is the materialas compact property which makes GetaCore suitable for
long lasting use. This product silhouettes against the market not only by the
batch-free production resulting in constant decors and structures but GetaCore
can also be applied both horizontally and vertically.
