About Us
Blackheath Products Ltd was incorporated in 1958 as a distributor of Formica decorative laminate for the furniture and construction industries.
During the 1970s we became one of the first distributors of decorative laminate worksurface elements for Builders Merchants, DIY outlets and Kitchen Retailers. We now distribute the largest range of laminate, solid wood and solid surfacing worksurfaces held at one location in the UK.
During the 1980s we built on our success as a major UK supplier of worksurfaces and created a new division for the distribution of kitchen furniture, appliances, sinks, taps, worksurfaces and numerous accessories.
During the 1990s we added laminate and engineered wood flooring as a significant additional product range for our kitchen division and Abet Laminati Print decorative laminates which dramatically expanded our laminate and sheet material division.
During the 2000s we have further expanded our sheet material division with the addition of the Alpi range of reconstituted real wood laminates, the Altofina range of shop fitting and furniture laminates, Trespa washroom compact laminates, Egger melamine faced chipboard and MDF and Samsung Staron solid surfaces.
Our decorative laminate - sheet material division and our kitchen product division continue to flourish side by side within our modern 60,000 square feet premises which are centrally located in the West Midlands.

- Our warehouse operates from 6.00am in the morning till 10.00pm at night and has the capacity and flexibility to handle seasonal demand fluctuations.
- Our kitchen products and decorative laminate / sheet materials sales divisions each have specialist internal and external sales forces in addition to their own sections within our warehouse and distribution facilities.
- We are a BS EN ISO 2001:2008 registered supplier (RS 25635).
- We have a powerful and robust computer system (Microsoft Navision) which controls our sales, purchasing, accounting, and warehousing and distribution functions and is capable of being continually developed to operate our business systems into the future.
- Our commercial vehicle route planning is controlled by Paragon software - the UK's leading logistic system and all of our vehicles have satellite tracking and telephone communication equipment which enables us to accurately inform our customers of times of delivery.
